Next Somatic Salience gathering: Spring! Emergence, An inquiry on aliveness. Step into an exploration of emergence, inspired by the quiet unfolding of spring. Just as the earth shifts from stillness to bloom, we will turn inward to listen deeply to the subtle rhythms of our bodies, allowing new sensations, forms, and possibilities to arise. Through embodied practices and reflective inquiry, we will create space for the natural unfolding of our inner landscape. This session invites you to reconnect with the aliveness that exists within you, embracing the discomfort and joy that emerge in the process of growth and transformation. In this stillness, we will uncover the deep wisdom of the body and remember the vitality that is always present, waiting to be integrated. Join us in this journey of exploratory awakening, where the emergence of impulse, desire and clarity have space to unfold. ___________________________________________________________ In-Person Gathering in Portland, OR: A living inquiry, embodied practice, and collective exploration through community and reflective discussion.

Christine Calvert is an addictions counselor, somatic practitioner and a certified Holotropic Breathwork® facilitator. She is a module facilitator and teacher for Grof Transpersonal Training both in the US and internationally. In addition to bringing Holotropic Breathwork® and other experiential workshops to mental health and addiction facilities, she is passionate about the ethics and integrity needed in facilitating expanded-state work; supporting the integration of Holotropic and psychedelic sessions through somatic resourcing; and creative expression, personal ritual, and group support. She aims to approach this work through a trauma-informed, anti-racist and LGBTQIA+ affirming lens and is dedicated to de-colonizing the work of soma, psyche and spirit, including a deep dedication to unwind the reality of that constellation in her own body and mind. Her own personal healing journey was greatly influenced by the Holotropic perspective and she feels deeply dedicated to sharing this work with those seeking healing. She enjoys finding ways to weave her personal and professional experience of different therapeutic and spiritual systems such as Shamanism, Somatic Experiencing, Jungian psychology, attachment theory, and mindfulness practices into her work with others. Christine maintains a private counseling and consulting practice in addition to facilitating Holotropic Breathwork® nationally and internationally, and supporting psilocybin facilitator trainings in Oregon.
